Privacy Policy

Let's Keep ("the App", "we", "us") is a personal memory app that helps you save and find your own thoughts, reminders, lists and photos. This page explains what data the App collects, how it's used, and how you can delete it.

1. What we collect

• Account: your email address, used only to sign you in with a one-time code. We never see or store a password.
• What you save: the text, voice recordings, photos and links you add to the App.
• Notification token: if you turn on reminders, a push-notification token for your device, so we can deliver reminders you set.
• Usage analytics:which features are used and how often — for example that a memory was saved or a search was run — so we can see what works and what doesn't. This never includes the content of what you save: no titles, no text, no photos, no voice.

2. How we use it

• The text of what you save is sent to Anthropic (maker of Claude) to generate a title, summary and category, and to power search across your own memories.
• Voice recordings are sent to Groq only to transcribe them to text; we do not keep the audio after transcription.
• Photos are stored in our database provider's storage, tied to your account only.
• Reminder times you set trigger a push notification at that time — nothing else.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use the content of your memories to train our own or any third party's AI models.

3. Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run the App: Anthropic (organizing and searching your memories), Groq (voice transcription), Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), PostHog (usage analytics, hosted in the EU — events only, never your content), and Vercel (hosting). Each only receives what's needed to perform its part — for example, Groq only ever receives the audio for a single voice note, never your other memories.

4. How long we keep it

• Active memories are kept until you delete them.
• "Forgetting" a memory moves it to Trash for 30 days, so you can restore it — after that it's permanently erased.
• Deleting your account (Settings → Delete account) permanently and immediately erases your memories, photos, reminders and account — there is no recovery period.

5. Your rights

You can delete any memory, or your entire account and all its data, at any time from inside the App — no need to contact us. If you'd like a copy of your data or have any other privacy question, email us at support@letskeep.app.

6. Children

The App is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and your memories are only accessible from your own signed-in account.

8. Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the App.
